LOCATED: Our primary location is in the Morton L. Rich Health Service Center( next to the Brown Masters House). This is the office where you should call or go to make appointments. Some of our counselors are located in the Barbara & David Gibbs Wellness Center. Click here for more location information.

After Hours and Emergency Care

A professional staff member is on call 24 hours a day for crisis intervention, with the exception of the time period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Call (713) 348-4867 to reach the on-call counselor. In the unlikely event that the Center cannot be reached directly, call Campus Police, 713-348-6000, for assistance in contacting the staff.

Rice students with psychological or psychiatric crises involving hospitalization are referred to one of several area hospitals.
