Kate Noonan, Director of Student Development and Retention
Kate Noonan serves as the director of student development and retention. She supports undergraduate success at Rice by providing general advising and coordinating referrals to helpful campus resources. Kate's office also provides guidance for students considering taking time off for problems or issues arising out of or because of medical or other personal concerns. She also provides assistance for students planning a return to Rice after such a leave from the university.
Kate received her BS from Rosemont College and MSEd from the University of Pennsylvania. Before coming to Rice in 2007, Kate worked in Residential Life and Education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In her free time, Kate enjoys traveling, catching up with friends and family, and photography.
