Shantée Liggins

Shantée joined the Rice Counseling Center in the fall of 2022 as a Clinical Counselor. She obtained a dual degree in Psychology and Public Health from the University of Utah, and received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. During her time there, Shantée completed her clinical practicum with the RCC in 2020. When working with students, Shantée aims to co-create a space built on trust and compassion where students can feel comfortable bringing in all parts of themselves to begin the process of exploration, learning, and healing. In her spare time, Shantée enjoys practicing and learning new jiu-jitsu techniques, traveling, sci-fi movies, and exploring new art exhibits.
