Didi has been the Interpersonal Violence Trauma Therapist at the Rice Counseling Center since 2023. Didi graduated from the University of Houston with a Master in Social Work in 2020 and has since devoted her skills and practice in trauma processing. Didi has prior experience working for the Montrose Center, The Houston Area Women's Center, and in private practice. Didi's role at Rice's Counseling Center is to help students who have experienced interpersonal violence, find a safe space on campus to process their experiences and begin their healing journey. Didi's treatment modalities are EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She works with each student individually to identify an effective treatment plan that will help meet their goals. In her spare time, she enjoys playing The Legend of Zelda, listening to podcasts, and cuddling with her cats.
