Agnes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honors) Degree in Social Work from the City University of Hong Kong. Before coming to Rice in 2012, she worked with the Harris County TRIAD-STAR program, where she provided counseling and outreach services for at-risk youth and their families, and at ESCAPE Family Resource Center, where she provided professional trainings and supervised child abuse and domestic violence prevention programs to support family health and well-being. She has worked with diverse Asian populations and is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. She loves traveling, art performances, and spending time with her family and friends.
