The Wellbeing and Counseling is excited to offer a variety of workshops and programs to help the Rice community address students' wellbeing needs. These programs are aimed to help students, faculty, and staff gain knowledge about ways to assist students.

We welcome partnerships with colleges and student groups on campus to host workshops. To request a program/workshop for your group, you can fill out the Wellbeing Program Request Form.

AlcoholEdu® is an online alcohol education program designed for all students, including non-drinkers, light to moderate drinkers, and frequent heavy drinkers, to receive relevant content, confidential personalized feedback and practical strategies that are appropriate for the needs of students.
QPR: "Question, Persuade, Refer" Suicide Prevention Training
The Rice Ally Program is a student, faculty, and staff educational program. The Ally Program goals are to raise awareness about the ways homophobia and heterosexism impact everyone, and to teach skills in being an Ally to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community.
The Caregiving Program is a peer lead, volunteer organization whose goal is to promote safety and accountabiity at registered public parties.
Attending the server/host training is the first step to becoming a certified server/host at events.
